4.1 The Butterfly Effect Part 1- Betty realises her new job may be not all it's cracked up to be: working with her ex, Matt, sharing an office with a person she doesn't take a liking to, and of whom doesn't take a liking to her. And Marc, still bitter at being passed over as editor, tries to make Betty's life miserable. Daniel is still coming to terms with his wife's passing and Wilhelmina has problems, within and outside of Mode.
4.2 The Butterfly Effect Part 2- Betty welcomes the opportunity to take charge of a photo shoot; however when Matt and Daniel intervene, things don't go according to plan. Amanda meets Daniel's new temp assistant, of whom is very much alike her and Hilda asks Marc for advice on how to deal with Justin.
4.3 Blue on Blue- Betty tries to get info from Evan York, Gucci's new designer via the help of Hilda's customer, Sammy. With the help of Amanda and Matt, Marc intends on sabotaging proceedings by staging a showdown at Ignacio's restaurant. Daniel enters a bereavement centre and later meets Natalie, who takes him under her wing. Wilhelmina flies off to Bermuda in search of Connor.
4.4 The Wiener, The Bun and The Boob- Thanks to Wilhelmina, Marc is assigned as Betty's new assistant. Betty and Marc go off in search of finding the worst jobs in New York as part of the assignment- yet it involves them donning outrageous outfits and performing a Bollywood number. Marc has insecurities and worries what his idol at Vogue will make of him. Daniel is targeted by the Community of the Phoenix.
4.5 Plus None - At Wilhelmina's fund-raiser for Tibetan orphans, Matt asks someone out to be his plus one. Daniel hires Natalie as his new assistant, making Betty feel awkward and unneeded. Daniel finds out about Claire's secret.
4.6 Backseat Betty- Hilda has doubts over her relationship with Archie, after bumping into old flame, Bobby from high school. Marc helps Justin adjust in high school, and telling him to be friends with the mean girls. Daniel is lured into a trap by Bennett and Wilhelmina finds a way to help Nico.
4.7 Level (7) With Me- Daniel hands over power to the Community of the Phoenix to run Mode. Betty steps in to help rescue Daniel from Bennett and Natalie and with Claire and Amanda comes up with a cunning plan. Wilhelmina goes out in public wearing sweats, thus causing a media frenzy, who are trying to get a scoop.
4.8 The Bahamas Triangle - The love triangle involving Betty, Amanda and Matt reaches a climax, Betty has trouble during a photo shoot when an foe of Wilhelmina's tries to upstage her and Marc finds love in the Caribbean.
4.9 Be-Shure - Ignacio tries to prepare Christmas dinner for the family and his new interest, Jean. Betty and Hilda take Be-Shure pregnancy tests. Cal hires a replacement for Wilhelmina... but she has plans for her own comeback. Marc teams up with Daniel to wrestle control of Meade Publications from Cal Hartley and Amanda helps Claire in tracking down Tyler, the son she gave up for adoption.
4.10 The Passion Of Betty - Betty wants to spend some time away from Matt so he helps him find something else to keep him busy and occupied. Hilda has a tough decision to make with regards to her child and Marc's fling, Troy from the Bahamas is eager in consummating their relationship.
4.11 Back In Her Place- In a flashback, Betty recalls everything that happened that made it the worst week in history and has job issues. Hilda is treated to a week of pampering and luxury by Bobby. Daniel is becoming suspicious of Marc's actions and motives of late.
4.12 Blackout!- Betty plans a karaoke party in her apartment building- unfortunately her building is robbed and Marc loses something valuable in the process. Amanda tricks Daniel and Wilhelmina into attending a couple's counselling session.
4.13 Chica and the Man - Wilhelmina is outraged after learning a drag queen impersonator, Wilheldiva Hater has stolen the limelight, and her image. Betty and Daniel hit a rough patch as she wins an award for her blog and Marc is pleased when a famous director wants to do a photo shoot with him.
4.14 Smokin Hot - Daniel helps Betty to cover a low- brow party, and along the way discovers a new upcoming designer and decides to promote her. Yet she faces competition from Marc. Amanda has difficulties in persuading Marc and Betty to promote her clothing line to Wilhelmina. Tyler goes to New York and tries to find Claire.
4.15 Fire and Nice - Betty is assigned to dating one of the firemen investigating her family's house fire in order to get to the bottom of how it all happened. Hilda meets Bobby's parents and Wilhelmina bumps into an ex, and shows him that she hasn't turned into a complete diva.
4.16 All The World's A Stage - Betty meets a new guy and wants to do a feature on him for Mode, Justin makes a new friend in acting class and Wilhelmina is back to her old self, lying in hospital.
4.17 Million Dollar Smile - When Betty goes to get her braces taken off, she is knocked unconscious and enters a dream-like state, where she envisages what life would've been like. had she not had the braces.
4.18 London Calling - Betty, Amanda and Hilda travel to London to cover fashion week and once there, meets up with old friend, Christina and runs into Gio. Wilhelmina joins an Alcoholics Anonymous... but with an ulterior motive.
4.19 The Past Presents The Future - empire.
4.20 Hello Goodbye - Betty's reluctance to tell Daniel about her future plans is holding her back. Justin and Austin go in search of a new place- but Hilda isn't too keen on the idea. Amanda struggles and comes to deal with the death of her dog, Halston and Marc thinks that he will spend the rest of life alone.
