Montana Thomas's Verdict On Seasons 1-4

Here is fellow Betty fan Montana Thomas's short round-up of comments of each season of Ugly Betty:

Ugly Betty On The Seasons: Season 1

Creativity is at a high. Every episode is full to the brim with humor, heart, drama, and that special bitchy yet loving zing that Ugly Betty gives its fans.

Out of 10 I give this season of Ugly Betty a:
10

Season 2

Ugly Betty always manages to charm its fans in one way or another, but in this season, I found myself uninspired. The plots were overflowing, but, the creativity was like the mush that you don’t care about at the bottom of an almost empty bowl of soup.

Out of 10 I give this season of Ugly Betty a:
4

Season 3

The penultimate season of Ugly Betty was disliked by a majority of people, I am one of the 10% of people who thought it was some of the show's strongest material. The creativity was ripe, the comedy was wicked, and the idea of a woman in a big city making mistakes like any human being would, but still managing to rise up and overcome the cruelty of others was inspiring. This season was in fact one of my favorites. I found myself falling deeper into the love I have built for this show.

Out of 10 I give this season of Ugly Betty an:
8

Season 4

The final season of Ugly Betty was pure art. This season gave us a chance to look deeper into the beautiful and the ugly of the wonderful characters that the writers have built over these past three seasons. I was very satisfied with the ending of the show but, I wish they did have the originally planned 22 episodes instead of 20. I am pleased that the final season was so amazing and inspiring.

Out of 10 I give this season of Ugly Betty a:
9 1/2
