Mark Indelicato — the 16-year-old screen star who played Betty’s flamboyantly fashion-obsessed nephew, Justin, on ABC’s now-defunct dramedy Ugly Betty — will drop by the summer’s hottest sitcom for a one-episode guest arc, premiering next month.
Indelicato will revisit his Justin’s roots as Broadway fanatic in an episode of Hot In Cleveland — titled ”The Plays the Thing” — airing Wednesday, August 4.
“Mark Indelicato plays Zack, a drama nerd and fan of Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick) who invites his hero to give some notes on his schools production of Romeo & Juliet. Gary Anthony Williams plays Coach Taylor who trains and treats the drama team like a football team, much to Zacks dismay. Hilarity ensues when Ms. Chase ends up giving more than just a few notes,” the network announced in a presser issued Monday.
Hot In Cleveland — recently renewed for a second season — airs Wednesdays @ 10PM on TV Land.
The job market is looking bright for the former Betty cast. Vanessa Williams, who portrayed divalicious and devious ex-model Wilihemina Slater, has landed a recurring role on the next season of Desperate Housewives. While pregnant star Becki Newton (Amanda) has been cast in NBC’s freshman romantic-comedy Love Bites.
