With America & Eric and the crew wrapping up filming of the last episode, the rest of the cast have since all gone their separate ways *sob* , although a few them popped up in a few places here and there, all over the country. Becki Newton aka Amanda was the first to land her first post-Betty project, an NBC show titled 'Love Bites'. Her stint on Betty has really opened doors for Becki and not least it attracted other networks and producers to take notice of her talent.
These are pics of her in L.A on the set of her new show- I've read the plot and it sounds interesting and promising. I hope that after a few episodes it will do well. But it's always a challenge for a so-called who started out as a newbie then who having been on a successful TV show for such a considerable period of time and became a familiar face to audiences, to jump from one show onto another.
I have no doubt that Becki will do well-, and if Love Bites turns out to be a really good show and it succeeds, then there's no mistaking that she has made the right career move.
Fingers crossed, it will all work out like it did for her on Ugly Betty.
