Well, don't fret- because unlike most fan sites and blogs, which are discontinued or taken off for good, once a TV show has ended, The Michael Urie And Ugly Betty Fan Blog will remain online- for as long as fans remain interested and I continue blogging.
If, however, I get to a point where I have no intention of posting, I will let you know in advance if and when I do decide that I don't want to blog any more and when I close/delete this site. But in the meantime, as there are so many of you Ugly Betty fans who visit this blog daily- and I appreciate it a lot- why would I want to do that? So I wish to say thank you to each of you.
Of course, in terms of news regarding the show itself, it will be relatively scarce as there will be no more episodes, ever. In addition, I probably won't be posting as often as I did when the show was still on. But other than that, there are plenty more things to discuss about Ugly Betty, despite the fact the series has already finished.
- Likewise, Season 4 has yet to air in the UK and Australia to name, and so I'd be taking a keen interest in seeing how audience figures fare for those episodes and posting those on here.
- I will also look back on the best, most memorable, as well as the worst and least memorable moments from the show over the past 4 seasons and post my favourite clips via You Tube.
- I also wrote some media studies based essays on Ugly Betty that I think will be of particular interest, so I will post these- these essays look at the impact of the show and how it has encompassed so many cultural, social meanings.
- Plus, there will be more poll questions coming up, as soon as the voting on the blog's latest polls closes.
To name but many, so yes there are plenty more ideas I have that I want to implement and put into practice.
Keep visiting this site for more and thanks for visiting! :-)
Waiching - writer and Betty fan
