The nominations for the 41st Annual National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People (NAACP) of 2010 Awards were announced today on January 6th on its website. Ugly Betty received a total of 3 nominations- the first for Outstanding Comedy Series, the second for Outstanding Actress In a Comedy Series for America Ferrera and the third for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series. In fact, both Ana Ortiz (Hilda Suarez) and Vanessa Williams (Wilhelmina Slater) got nods for the same catagory, which is rather interesting and amazing too.
As a bonus, Vanessa Williams also got nominated for her Album 'The Real Thing', which was released last year in 2009, in the Outstanding Jazz Album category. In total she has 2 nominations to her name.
We wish all the nominees the very best of luck, especially the ones representing our show, Ugly Betty.
